Senate democrats challenge Trump’s AI chip deal with China

♨️News – Six Senate Democrats are pressing President Donald Trump to reverse his decision that allows Nvidia and AMD to sell advanced AI chips to China in return for 15 percent of revenue. They argue the deal puts national security at risk, while the Trump administration has brushed off the criticism.

Meta AI app struggles with weak personalization despite massive investment push

☕News – Meta’s push into consumer AI is running into bumps. The Meta AI app, introduced in April, was meant to showcase the company’s billions of dollars in AI investment. Instead, it has left many users frustrated with weak personalization, inconsistent performance across Meta’s apps, and a Discover feed that often feels stale.

• Users report outdated images, generic recommendations, and frequent inaccuracies in chats.
