Microsoft edge now offers AI to assist you while browsing

♨️News – Microsoft has introduced a new Copilot Mode in its Edge browser that brings AI into your everyday browsing. The feature is designed to understand what you're looking at, anticipate what you want to do next, and help you get it done, all within the same tab.
👨💻Fast facts –
Copilot Mode is currently free and optional for Mac and PC users.
It adds a new tab page where you can search, chat, and browse with AI support.
The AI can answer questions about the page you’re on, like suggesting how to make a recipe vegan.
It can also help with tasks like booking appointments or drafting lists.
With permission, Copilot can see your open tabs to assist with research or comparisons.
Microsoft plans to add features that help users pick up where they left off.
🤓OpenTools POV – This move blends AI chat with real-time browsing, turning Edge into a more hands-on digital helper. The real test will be whether people find it genuinely easier or just more complicated.

A second group, led by the Shanghai General Chamber of Commerce, is focused on applying AI across industrial sectors.
Huawei revealed the CloudMatrix 384 system, said to outperform Nvidia’s GB200 NVL72 on some metrics.
