• Pixel 10 is the first phone to implement the C2PA standard for identifying AI-modified images.

☕News –  AI sales avatars are beginning to outperform human livestream sellers in China, with companies like Brother reporting significant gains. Powered by startups such as PLTFRM, these virtual hosts are keeping sales streams running around the clock and even outselling their human counterparts.

• Brother’s AI avatar sold $2,500 worth of printers in its first two hours online.

• The company says livestream sales have increased 30% since switching to avatars.

• PLTFRM’s avatars currently run on four Chinese ecommerce platforms.

• American and European companies are exploring similar use cases.

• In 2024, one-third of China’s ecommerce sales came through livestreams.
