This move marks a major departure from their reliance on NVIDIA's expensive graphics processors (GPUs), which have dominated the field of AI development.

😎What are the key features of AMD’s new chip? AMD's MI300X promises significant performance gains thanks to its novel architecture and its most striking feature – 192GB of cutting-edge HBM3 memory. Indonesia drafts AI ethics guidelines to prevent misuse of technology

🗞️News - Indonesia has taken a step towards regulating the burgeoning field of Artificial Intelligence by drafting ethics guidelines for developers. This draft, produced by the communications ministry, aims to prevent the potential misuse of AI and calls on developers to prioritize ethical considerations throughout the development and deployment process.

The draft emphasizes the need for a proactive approach, urging developers to prepare risk management strategies to mitigate potential "impacts and losses" arising from AI use.

🤔What’s more? The exact timeline for the implementation of these guidelines remains uncertain. While Usman Kansong, a senior communications ministry official, couldn't provide a specific launch date, the deputy minister expressed hope for a release within December.

Well, beyond risk mitigation, the ethics guideline also discusses privacy protection and the inherent value of humanity. It stresses that AI, while fostering innovation, should not become a replacement for human beings.
