Key Points
Developers can now design 3D layouts in Blender to guide AI-generated 2D images using Nvidiaās new blueprint.
The tool combines Blender and FLUX.1, giving users more precision than text prompts alone can offer.
š¤News - Nvidia has launched its AI Blueprint for 3D-guided generative AI, a tool designed to give developers more control over the AI image generation process.
The tool is available for download for computers with an Nvidia RTX 4080 GPU or higher and works by combining Blender's 3D modeling software with Black Forest Lab's FLUX.1 image generator.
šØāš»How it works - With this new tool, developers can create 3D scenes in Blender using basic objects like buildings, trees, and vehicles. These 3D models are then used as a reference for generating 2D images. By adjusting the layout and viewpoint of the objects in Blender, developers can have greater control over the final image compared to relying solely on text descriptions.
For instance, if you have a specific vision of a city with particular buildings, trees, and cars, you can set it up in Blender, and FLUX.1 will generate a 2D version based on that layout.
šBlueprints for developers - Nvidiaās AI Blueprint provides step-by-step documentation, sample assets, and a preconfigured environment, designed to help developers streamline their work when building generative AI applications. The tool promises to simplify workflows and offer better results with less effort, making it an exciting addition to the AI toolkit.

Key Points
Gemini now lets you edit both AI-generated and personal images directly, with features like background changes and object replacement.
The new āmulti-stepā flow combines text and images for richer, more contextual results, like stories with visuals.
To address deepfake concerns, Google adds invisible watermarks and is testing visible ones for all Gemini-generated images.
š¤News - Googleās Gemini chatbot is getting a major upgrade; users can now edit both AI-generated and personal images directly within the app.
šWhatās new - Rolled out on Wednesday, this new image editing feature supports tasks like changing backgrounds, adding or replacing elements, and even tweaking how you look, including hair color makeovers.
The update also introduces a āmulti-stepā editing flow designed to provide richer, more contextual responses. That means Gemini can integrate text and images more naturally, like drafting a bedtime story and generating illustrations to go with it. This is rolling out gradually, with support for over 45 languages and broader international availability in the coming weeks.
š§Worries & watermarks - As Gemini gets more creative, it also raises a few eyebrows about how the tech might be used. To address potential misuse, all images created or edited using Geminiās native tools will carry an invisible watermark. The company also says itās āexperimentingā with adding visible watermarks to every Gemini-generated image.
