Step 1: Create Your AI Sales Agent

• Go to Jotform AI Agents (Visit Here).
  

• Click “Create Agent” and select the “Use template” -> “AI Sales Agent”

• Inside the AI sales agent template, you’ll be able to build & train your AI Agent
  

• In the build section you’ll be able to customize, generate or upload your AI agent. As well as the overall chat colours, insert your company logo etc.

Step 2: Train your AI Agent in your product offering

Navigating the super easy Training Menu couldn’t be easier, here you can:

• Choose the AI Persona to match your companies values

• Update the Knowledge base with content you use everyday

• Choose the actions your AI Agent should take in conversations with customers

• Integrate tools so that your AI Agent can take actions and execute them with other tools you use

• Add forms you’d like to be filled out

• Teach your agent with chats on normal customer conversations

Next, we chose the actions the AI Agent would take when conversing with a customer; think of this as the “workflow” aspect. Here’s how we set up our actions:

Step 3: Connect Google Calendar to Automate Booking Meetings

1. Go to the “Tools” section in the Training Menu

2. Search for Set Appointment with Google Calendar

3. Connect your Google Calendar with Jotform AI Agents to allow the agent to set meetings for you

Protip:

•  Make sure the Google Calendar is also setup in actions

•  Ask the AI Agent to help set up meetings when someone talks about “meeting”

Step 4: Teach Your Agent and Test Conversation Fluidity

1. In the training menu’s “Teach your agent” section:

   • Start the conversation– Ask questions customers might have traditionally in your sales process ex. “What’s the price?”

2. Try to roleplay the customers side: 

   • Ex. I’d like to book a meeting, or can i discuss with someone from your team?”

Editor’s note: Something we were blown away by was the human-seeming element of the AI sales agent. When collecting information, the AI knew not to let important details slip by that could help with prior research or further understanding of the customer (see below) 

Step 5: Preview & Publish Your AI Sales Agent

1. Click the Preview Toggle - It’ll allow you to see how the AI Sales Agent (Ours is named Caroline) will function for customers

2. Continue to edit, train and add actions based on needs, desired outcomes or conversation fluidity

3. Deploy on your website, turn it into a chatbot or deploy on WhatsApp.

• You can also have the AI agent handle phone calls and texts if you’d like to go the extra mile
