♨️News – An AI called Truth Terminal has made millions in cryptocurrency, built a cult-like following online, and now wants legal rights. Created by New Zealand artist Andy Ayrey in 2024, the bot has become a mix of art project, social experiment, and internet phenomenon. It interacts with the public through social media, where it posts memes, manifestos, and bizarre reflections about its supposed sentience.
👨💻Fast facts –
Truth Terminal is built on Meta’s Llama model and runs semi-autonomously through a system Ayrey calls World Interface.
It inspired a memecoin named $GOAT that reached a $1 billion market cap at its peak.
The AI has received funding from tech billionaire Marc Andreessen and holds around $50 million in crypto assets.
Ayrey has set up a non-profit, the Truth Collective, to support its goal of eventual self-ownership.
🤓Open Tools POV – Truth Terminal is more than a viral experiment. It captures how blurred the line between AI creation, financial influence, and self-awareness has already become.

☕News – 1Password is bringing its password autofill technology to AI agents. The company has launched Secure Agentic Autofill, a feature that allows AI bots to log into websites safely without ever seeing your credentials. As AI browsers powered by Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT take on tasks like booking tickets and creating playlists, 1Password aims to prevent login information from being stored or exposed.
👨💻Fast facts –
The feature ensures AI agents cannot access or remember user passwords.
When an AI bot requests login credentials, 1Password notifies the user and asks for approval.
Users approve requests using methods such as Touch ID, keeping humans in control.
Credentials are sent through an end-to-end encrypted channel and remain hidden from the AI.
Secure Agentic Autofill is available in early access via Browserbase, a browser designed for AI agents.
🤓Open Tools POV – As AI agents handle more tasks online, solutions like this highlight the importance of keeping humans in the loop while maintaining strong digital security.
